A reset room inside your office, and
nobody has to be persuaded to use it.

Zen Garden is the world's first permanent mental and emotional reset room, built inside your own office floor. Three zones, a Zen Expert on site, open all day.

TEN STEPS ZEN GARDEN SAMPLE FLOOR PLAN · ONE ROOM, INSIDE THE FLOOR YOU ALREADY HAVE
Not renders. Four photographs of the Zen Garden at EGL, Bengaluru. A room you can stand in this week. Nothing to book, nobody to tell: it is open, the way the cafeteria is open.

No form, no waiting.

The film and the six stops are right below. You do not have to give us your name to look at a room, so look first, and talk to us only if you want to.

Six stops, about five minutes

Walk the room, stop by stop.

Looking into a Zen Garden from the office floor: planting, low seating and soft screens, with the working floor visible behind
Stop 01 · Arriving

It is on your floor, not in a wellness centre.

A door people pass anyway. Nothing to book, no sign-in, no badge, nobody asking what you are here for. Every step between a tired person and the room is a step where most turn back.

Why it mattersTen steps from the desk is the difference between a room people mean to visit and one they are already standing in.

Stop 02 · Balance

The body settles before anything else is attempted.

Sound and breath. Somebody walking in off four hours of calls is still braced, and nothing later works while they are.

In this zoneSinging bowls and gong. Guided breathwork. Touch, worked by hand.

The wooden emotion wheel mounted on the wall of the Blossom zone
Stop 03 · Blossom

Naming it exactly is most of the work.

A wooden emotion wheel, a journal nobody reads but you, and a mirror. It sounds slight written down. It is the zone people are most sceptical about on day one and describe most precisely six months on.

In this zoneThe emotion wheel. Journaling, private and unprompted. Mirror work.

The stillness tent in the Bliss zone: low light, cushions and a canopy, with planting around it
Stop 04 · Bliss

Nothing is asked of you here at all.

No prompts, no guidance. A textured path walked barefoot, live planting, somewhere to stop. Nobody uses this zone in week one. By month two it is the one people cannot do without.

In this zoneA grounding path. Live planting. Stillness, which is the point of the whole sequence.

The resident Zen Expert preparing the room at the start of a working day
Stop 05 · The Zen Expert

A room with nobody in it becomes storage.

A resident Zen Expert is here every working day. Not a visiting facilitator, not a rota. Not a therapist, not a coach, not HR in a different chair. They report to Zariyaa, not to you.

Why the reporting line mattersIt is the first thing we would refuse to trade away.

Stop 06 · The count

What gets written down, and what never does.

Every visit is logged at zone level: which zone, how long, first-time or returning. No badge scans, no identity recorded at any point. The Zen Expert keeps the count, in the room.

Where that number goesInto a usage report that reaches the client every Friday, rising or not.

Stop 1 of 6

Seen enough to have questions?

Nothing is asked of you.

A room that is simply there gets walked into.

A gym subsidy needs a habit held through the worst quarter of the year. An app needs opening on the day it is least likely to be opened. An assistance line needs a call from somebody with nothing left to make it with.

Each asks for a decision at the moment of least energy. So they get budgeted, they go unused, and the meditation corner becomes where the spare chairs live.

Take the friction away and usage stops being a motivation problem. It becomes a physics problem.

Which is why this is recovery infrastructure rather than a campaign. It gets budgeted the way the cafeteria is, and survives a bad quarter.

Companies who have had a Zen Garden in their building.

Flipkart Bengaluru and Manhattan Associates are the two with usage figures in the record, and theirs are the only numbers on this page.

Every office essential was once optional.

The cafeteria A perk for a few, once. Now nobody questions the line.
The WiFi A luxury in 2005. Plain infrastructure by 2010.
The meeting room Never justified on a spreadsheet. Always budgeted anyway.
The reset room Optional today.

We are not going to tell you what 2030 looks like. What we will say is that every line above followed the same path, that none of them were obvious at the time, and that each one was argued about in a room like the one you are sitting in.

Three zones, in this order, for a reason.

A real, built room inside the office you already have. Not an app, not a nap pod.

A guided sound session in the Balance zone, singing bowl in use Zone 01 · the entry

Balance

Sound and breath. The charge of the workday comes off first, because nothing after it works while the body is braced.

The mirror work corner of the Blossom zone Zone 02 · the middle

Blossom

An emotion wheel, journaling, mirror work. Naming what you are carrying, which turns out to be most of the work.

The stillness tent in the Bliss zone, low light and cushions Zone 03 · the end

Bliss

A grounding path walked barefoot, live planting, and nothing asked of you. The last zone people try and the first they miss.

What it is built from, and why a room alone is not enough

Mineral-infused paint. Biophilic materials, bamboo, stone, brass, never synthetic. A handcrafted oil blend. Full-spectrum lighting that tracks the circadian rhythm. Sound tuned to specific frequencies. Each chosen for what it does to a nervous system, not for how it photographs. No branding on the door.

None of it is enough on its own. A well-designed room with nobody in it becomes a lounge, and then storage. A resident Zen Expert is present every working day, and reports to Zariyaa rather than to your HR department, which is why people walk in unannounced.

Zen Garden is a preventive and supportive wellbeing programme, not clinical treatment. Zen Experts are trained to recognise when someone needs more than the room can offer and to refer appropriately. Responsibility for clinical care remains with qualified healthcare professionals.

The two-day trial

Do not take our number. Take yours.

Two days of a working Zen Garden inside your own office, before you commit to anything.

What it costs
₹2,00,000 for the two days, confirmed in writing before anything is installed. No survey fee, no deposit, nothing added later.
What we do to make it work
Nothing. No mandate, no announcement. Your people find the room and use it on their own, or they do not.
What you are holding at the end
A usage figure measured on your floor, with your people, on the same definitions we use in a permanent room. Not our projection. Yours whether you go ahead or not.
A Zen Garden installed inside an office floor: planting, floor seating and soft dividers between zones
A permanent installation, photographed as built. A trial room is the same idea, scaled to a corner, for two days.
Somebody lying on a mat in the room during the working day, shoes off, nobody supervising
Nobody was asked to be there. This is the whole test: over two days, either people walk in on their own or they do not, and the count is the same either way.
After their first ten minutes

What they wrote, not what we did.

No survey and no prompt. There is a book in the room and people reach for it on their own. This is a sample of it, in their own hand.

Visitors, not the companies that bought the room. Nobody was asked to write anything, which is also why none of it can be counted. The usage log is the representative number.

Below is the record, including the parts that need explaining and the figure we have taken off this page.

Flipkart Bengaluru, when nobody was told to go

A converted meeting room on one floor, grown by word of mouth.

Weekly visits at Flipkart Bengaluru Forty-seven visits in week one, rising to one hundred and eighty-four visits a week by month three. Usage at month six was higher than at month one. 47 week one 184 month three
Weekly visitsZone-level visit counts, one floor, nobody told to go. The dotted continuation carries no figure: usage at month six was higher than at month one, and that direction is what the record supports.
25% lower decision fatigue at month six, against that floor’s own baseline Decision fatigueMeasured at month six against that floor’s own month-zero baseline. Not another client, not an industry benchmark.

The number that tells the story is not the 25%. It is that month six was higher than month one, the opposite curve to everything else tried in these buildings.

The Zen Garden at Flipkart Bengaluru in use during a working day
Wide view of the Zen Garden installed at Flipkart Bengaluru
Manhattan Associates, and why 240 needs a paragraph

The busiest day in our record is 240 visits in one working day, at Manhattan Associates. Read that one carefully, because we would.

One peak day, in a 250 sq ft converted meeting room running as a temporary two-day trial. Flipkart’s steady state is 184 visits a week. Divide one by the other and they look impossible to reconcile, so here is the reconciliation: different rooms, different windows, and a trial draws novelty traffic a permanent room does not. We publish it because it is in the log, not because your floor should expect it.

If you want a number that predicts your building, neither of these is it. Two days on your own floor is.

How we count, and what we refuse to count

Each visit is recorded at zone level: which zone, how long, first-time or returning. No badge scans, no identity captured at any point, which makes it DPDP-compliant by construction. There is nothing identifying to protect, because nothing identifying was ever captured.

It is also the mechanism. The moment a visit can be attributed to a person, the walking-in stops. We refuse to start, including when your legal team asks.

The report goes out every Friday unasked, in the same shape every week. A report whose structure changes when the number is bad is a tell, and buyers read tells.

The definitions in fullThe measurement page sets out what counts as a visit.

A figure that came off this page, and came back

For years our sales material quoted a return rate of 91%. Our own measurement chapter used a different window, so two of our documents disagreed and we took the number off this page rather than pick the flattering one.

It is settled now, and narrower than it used to be: of first-time visitors to our permanent rooms, 91% come back within the same week. The two windows were never really in conflict. Week one asks whether people came back at all. The week-two window in our measurement chapter asks whether use held up, which is a harder question and a different figure. Each one now says which it is.

It is permanent rooms only, because a two-day trial has no second week to count.

The room count is on this page now. Seven permanent Zen Gardens are installed and running. Fifteen more organisations have run a Zen Garden on their own floor. For years those two were added together and quoted as one number. They are not the same thing. They are no longer said as one.

What it costs, against one senior exit
from ₹15,00,000 installation, sized to your floor What is not in thatAn operating cost, quoted separately, depending on office size and headcount.
₹38 to 62 lakh to replace one senior employee What is countedThe search, then the ramp before the replacement is productive. A cost comparison, not a saving we are claiming.

That is the whole finance case. There is no retention percentage on this page, because we do not have one that is a log rather than a guess. What we hand you is a weekly record of whether your people use it.

We would rather be interrogated than believed.

Put in writing before any contract

Four commitments. Every one is about us.

Not one is a promise about how your people will behave, because nobody can honestly make that promise.

01
The resident Zen Expert is present every working day, or the contract extends free. Checked against our own attendance record, not yours.
02
A usage report reaches you every Friday, unasked, whether the number is rising or not. No approval step that could quietly become a filter.
03
If the room underperforms by week six, it is redesigned at Zariyaa’s cost. Which is why a bad week is evidence the measurement works, rather than something to manage.
04
You can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice. There is no lock-in. A room kept out of contractual obligation is bad for everyone standing in it.
The asymmetry is the point. Every commitment above can only be broken by us, and can only be checked against our own conduct. That is the entire reason they are worth anything.

The questions your board will ask you

Our people already ignore the gym subsidy and the app. Why would this be different?

CHROBecause it asks nothing of them. Each of those needs a decision at the moment of least energy: form the habit, book the class, open the app. This is a room ten steps away, with nobody to tell and nothing to book. And you need not take that on trust. Run the two days and read your own floor’s number.

What if our people just don’t use it?

CHRO · CFOThen you will know before you commit, which is why the two-day trial exists. After that you keep knowing: the Friday report goes out whether the number is rising or not, and if the room underperforms by week six we redesign it at our cost.

Who is the Zen Expert, and do they report to us?

CHRO · LEGALPresent every working day, and reporting to Zariyaa rather than to your HR department. Not a therapist, not a coach, not HR in a different chair. If you ask us to have them flag struggling employees, we will refuse. The moment that happens the room stops being safe and there is nothing left to measure.

Zariyaa has been doing this for six years.

Zen Garden is not a product somebody licensed. It is built and run by Zariyaa Happy Wellbeing Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru, and every room is designed, installed and staffed by the same company.

No subcontractor between us and your floor. When a room underperforms, there is nobody else for you to ask.

Zariyaa’s practice is older and wider than this one product: wellbeing work delivered inside real organisations, over years, with the same people. Zen Garden is what happened when that practice was given a permanent room and asked to prove the room was being used.

The Recovery Standard, our published measurement standard, sets out the reasoning and the methodology in enough detail for a hostile reader to find a catch. We would rather hear about one from you than from a client six months in.
